Product coupons are discounts, offers and promotions offered by an online store to current or prospective customers. They are aimed at enticing a consumer to make a purchase. An online coupon can be offered on specific products in the form of a code which the customer then enters in the coupon code section during checkout. Once the apply button is clicked, the discount is then automatically applied on the product. 

There are 2 types of coupons namely:

% Discount

Codes for these discounts take a certain percentage off and can apply to your whole order, or only select items. 

Fixed Discount

These will take a fixed dollar amount off your order. Alternatively, they could apply to a single item.
